Moraa is a common name in Kenya. Moraa from Nairobi is a mother and grandmother actively educating her neighbors about pregnancy, pre- and ante-natal care, and infant health. She is on the front lines of the fight to eliminate preventable deaths of mothers and children and Curamericas is working hard to support her.

Moraa from Kisii County Kenya is a very young mother who gave birth to the first child, Juliet, born at the Matongo birthing centre in Kisii County. She is back in school and active in the care group and community outreach program run by KIKOP, a joint venture between the Ministry of Health and Curamericas.

Team Moraa is raising funds to help Curamericas provide life saving support to mothers like Moraa around the world. Curamericas currently works in the US, Guatemala, Bolivia, Kenya, Liberia, and shortly again in Haiti. Check out all the exciting work underway: https://www.curamericas.org/.
